Southern California’s largest boat sales event returns to the Fairplex in Pomona, offering boating and outdoor enthusiasts an opportunity to see, board, and buy new boats, and marine accessories

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Boat Show takes place January 10-13, 2019 at the Fairplex in Pomona (1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona, CA 91768). Celebrating its’ 63nd year, the Los Angeles Boat Show is the ultimate destination for boating and outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts, featuring custom performance boats, ski boats, deck boats, personal watercraft, pontoons, sport fishing boats, runabouts, cabin cruisers, dinghies/inflatables, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and marine accessories.

The Los Angeles Boat Show marks the debut boat show of 2019, and buyers and boating enthusiasts will have the opportunity to be the first to see the latest models from dealers around the country. “There will be pre-season discounts and incentives at the show,” said Los Angeles Boat Show CEO Duncan McIntosh. “Buyers are encouraged to take stock now, before the summer boating season begins and there is a backlog of orders.”

According to the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), California’s recreational boating has an annual economic impact of more than $8.9 billion, which includes indirect, direct and induced spending. Los Angeles plays a vital role to keeping the industry robust, with the strongest sales seen in a decade.

In addition, the NMMA reports that as the sixth largest economy in the world, California represents an average of $614 million in annual sales of new boats, engines, and marine accessories. “We are fortunate that California calls many of the top boating manufacturers home,” says Duncan McIntosh. “Centurion in Central California to Shockwave Boats in Corona, are just two of the boat builders who will be at the Los Angeles Boat Show.”
