DEL AMO FASHION CENTER CELEBRATES STYLE EVOLUTION AND ANNOUNCES NEARLY 100 NEW BRANDS
Center also adds 2,000-car parking structure along Fashion Way
Starting today, South Bay shoppers will be able to enjoy new brand name stores and restaurants like Kate Spade, Hugo Boss and Pink’s Hot Dogs as part of the ongoing style evolution of Del Amo Fashion Center. Simon officials and Torrance Mayor Patrick Furey shared the exciting announcements this morning at a Grand Opening ribbon-cutting event.
As a result of the ongoing transformation of South Bay’s premier retail destination, Del Amo Fashion Center is expected to add about 100 brands, beginning with the opening today of a 140,000-square-foot Nordstrom.
“The lineup at Del Amo Fashion Center continues to expand, with more selection and retail, dining and lifestyle experiences than ever in store for South Bay shoppers,” said Lindsay Hermance, director of marketing and business development at Del Amo Fashion Center. “We’re excited for what this means for our shoppers and their experience and choices, and also for the momentum this brings to our existing tenants.”
Designers like Kate Spade, Hugo Boss, Brooks Brothers, Vince Camuto and a re-located Z Gallerie are set to open South Bay-exclusive stores in Del Amo Fashion Center’s new, state-of-the-art two-level fashion wing, which will open its doors alongside Nordstrom.
In addition, the iconic Hollywood mom-and-pop hot dog stand Pink’s Hot Dogs will join Del Amo Fashion Center’s beautiful new Patio Cafes dining experience, which touts greenery walls, lounge and communal seating for more than 700 people and other exciting dining options like Australian-based Sumo Salad’s first-ever U.S. location and Open Sesame Grill, slated for a 2016 opening. Michelin star-rated Din Tai Fung, a global chain that’s particularly known for its “xiao long bao” soup dumplings, will join Great Maple, FRIDA, and a relocated Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que in a restaurant row along Hawthorne Boulevard. Next year will also bring Lemonade and Luna Grill to phase two of the center.
The new list of retailers joins an already outstanding slate of dining and shopping experiences that will call Del Amo Fashion Center’s new, state-of-the-art two-level fashion wing home. These include: ZARA in a two-level, 25,000 square-foot space; H&M in a two-level, 25,000 square-foot store; Victoria’s Secret in a 15,000 square-foot flagship store (twice the size of the retailer’s typical space); Express in an 11,208 square-foot space; and a 10,200 square-foot Uniqlo.
Simon announced additional new names that are slated to be a part of the 100-retailer expansion at Del Amo Fashion Center, including the following retailers:
