Westside Pavilion is pleased to unveil a full calendar of festive events to warm the holiday spirit. While shopping, guests can enjoy sounds of carolers, live festive entertainment from some of todays hottest up and coming pop stars, celebrity appearances and partake in seasonally themed Kids Club events, Pet Photos with Santa, The Big Gift Exchange and more.

The best shopping of the year will be earlier than ever when the mall opens doors on Thanksgiving night at 8 p.m. and stay open until 12 a.m. Macy’s will open even earlier on Thanksgiving night at 6 p.m. The mall will reopen for Black Friday shopping at November 28 at 8 a.m.

Santa will be available for photos and visits at his winter home, located near Nordstrom on level 2, through December 24. Bring your cat or dog to take a special Santa Paws photo with Santa on December 1, 8 or 15 from 6 – 8 p.m.

Ring in the holidays with the Westside Wonderland holiday concert series presenting free live shows Wednesday nights November 26 through December 17. The series kicks off with 15-year old pop sensation Bea Miller performing live on November 26. DJ Blake Michael, known for his role on Nickelodeon’s hit show, Dog with a Blog, will spin live on December 3. American Idol season ten finalist, Pia Toscano, will perform on December 10. Christina Grimmie, star vocalist contestant from season six of NBC’s The Voice will perform on December 17. Each concert starts at 7pm and includes special meet and greets with the artists following the performance.

On December 7 Westside Pavilion and Lythgoe Family Productions present a comedic holiday version of the tale of Sleeping Beauty featuring family-friendly magic and contemporary music for fairytale fans of all ages. The performance will be followed by a meet and greet opportunity with the show’s cast.

In the evening of December 7 celebrate the season with the 1st annual Give Back Gala. This shopping fundraiser includes live music, wine, culinary sampling, fashion shows, pampering, and special discounts. 100% of the proceeds benefit the favorite local community organization of your choice.

Dickensian Carolers will be performing at the mall on various days throughout the holiday season. On Saturday, December 20, The Icicles Caroling Group will offer an interactive show fusing modern and upbeat holiday caroling. The performance will include live on-stage appearances by the Snow Princess and Snow Queen from Hans Christina Anderson’s Snow Queen Fairytale.

In partnership with CBS Radio, Westside Pavilion is giving people a chance to swap out their least favorite gifts for a $2,500 chance to get what they really wanted. Guests will have an opportunity to qualify to enter “The Big Gift Exchange” online at 947thewave.com or at one of three Wave Street Team appearances on-mall on December 4, 11, and 18.  The Big Gift Exchange Grand Prize Giveaway will take place on December 27.
