The Queen Mary Goes Country with the Inaugural ShipKicker Country Music Festival May 23-24

20 Hours of the Best Live Music Country Has to Offer

Dustin Lynch, Parmalee, Eric Paslay, The Railers, Jukebox Mafia, David Fanning and More Set to Perform on the Waterfront...

The Queen Mary is pleased to introduce ShipKicker, the all-new two-day music festival presenting top country artists performing from sunshine to moonshine at the picturesque Waterfront Event Park May 23-24. The inaugural fest welcomes over 20 hours of live country music with performances by Dustin Lynch, Parmalee, Eric Paslay, The Railers, Jukebox Mafia, David Fanning and more.

Dustin Lynch headlines ShipKicker Day 1 and occupies a unique place in today’s country music. He has been heralded as the heir to George Strait’s throne with his classic sensibilities, yet with one listen to his newest hit, “Where It’s At,” it’s obvious the young Tennessee native knows how to combine his traditional influences with an edgy intensity that places him at the vanguard of today’s contemporary country scene. His self-titled debut hit reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, making him the only new male artist to achieve such a feat that year. Dustin Lynch will be joined by the likes of favorite country artists including Eric Paslay, Jukebox Mafia, River Road, Jay Hollister, Brian Lynn Jones and Neil Morrow.

ShipKicker Day 2 headliner Parmalee’s debut country album, Feels Like Carolina, earned the band critical praise from People, The New York Times, USA Today, Newsday, Billboard and more. In 2014, Parmalee garnered a semi-finalist nod for the Academy of Country Music’s coveted “New Artist of the Year” award, a Teen Choice Award nomination for “Choice Country Group” and toured with one of country’s leading male vocalists, Jake Owen, on his Days Of Gold Tour. Parmalee’s latest hit, “Close Your Eyes,” recently became its second consecutive Top 3 hit on country radio. The band’s newest single, “Already Callin’ You Mine” hit country radio in February 2015. The Railers, David Fanning, CJ Simmons, Justin Lee, Pawnshop Kings and Scotty Mac Band join Parmalee on Sunday’s stage.

On top of 20 hours of the greatest live music the country scene has to offer, ShipKicker Country Music Festival will offer concert-goers food vendors, a beer garden, cocktails, yard-games and a wild bucking bull ride, where guests can hang on for 'deer' life.

Tickets start at $35 (online in advance) and $45 day of and at the door. Two-day tickets are available for $65 in advance. VIP upgrades are also available and include access to a private bar and two drink tickets.

Festival doors open at 1PM each day and the event welcomes country music fans of all ages. Can’t wait to get the party started? Get your tailgate buzz on sipping' on suds when you join the parking lot party Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am - 1:30pm. Tickets are just $5 to enjoy food and drink specials, backyard games, compete in a 2-Step Contest and meet Go Country 105 FM’s morning hosts Graham Bunn on Saturday and Christine Martindale on Sunday.
